Dr Nevena Micić

Prim Dr Nevena Micić was born on November 10th 1967 in Lebane.

She finished primary and secondary school in Lebane with honours and in 1997 successfully graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Niš with the average mark of 8.23.

Residency in Ophthalmology finished at the Eye Clinic of the Clinical Centre in Niš and in the Health Centre in Niš, where she was employed in the period from June 2000 to May 2003.

Specialist exam in ophthalmology passed on February 27th 2004 with honours at the Eye Clinic of the Medical Faculty in Nis.

She has been working from April 2004 as an ophthalmologist in Clinic Maja. She finished the ultrasound course of in Belgrade in 2007 and in January 2015 she received the title of Primarius.

During her professional career she continuously participates in medical education and actively takes part in many professional conferences, congresses and conferences.

She has authored and co-authored 29 expert papers in the field of ophthalmology (14 author and co-author of 15 papers).

Dr Nevena regularly participates at the European ophthalmic congresses first and foremost at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

In everyday work she deals with, among other things contactology, ultrasound, preparing patients for cataract surgery or refractive surgery. She is involved in the latest diagnostic procedures such as OCT, perimetry, Pentacam, FA fundus. As a result, she is directly engaged in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.

She is a member of several societies and associations:

• Member of the Society of Serbian contactologist
• Member of the Ophthalmologists Association of Serbia
• Member of the Serbian Medical Society.
